What this covers.

leelalu.com introduces LEELALU, hosts a library of guides and free tools, and lets you join a waitlist. The LEELALU app is a free beta, open by invitation, distributed on iOS through Apple's TestFlight. These terms cover the site, the waitlist and the invited beta. By using any of them you agree to what is written here. If you do not, please do not use them.

How we handle your data is a separate document and it is the one that matters most: the privacy policy, with the consumer health data policy beside it.

Nothing is charged today.

The beta is free. Billing is closed, checkout is closed, there is no payment path in the app, and no price is live. Nobody has ever been charged: checkout was open briefly in July 2026 and closed before anyone paid. Anything this page says about prices is a plan, not a bill.

Who may use it.

You must be 18 or older. You can try the signed-out practice mode; family accounts require an invitation. Account access is granted only to an address we invited, or to somebody an invited family let in. Invitations are for the household they were sent to, and passing one to somebody outside your family breaks this arrangement.

The app is for parents and the other adults a family invites. It is not for children, and children must not use it. Lu talks with grown-ups only.

Your family account.

An account is opened by invitation and belongs to you. What your family writes into its record belongs to your family: we host it, we do not own it, and the vows in the privacy policy bind us in how we handle it. You agree to use the product only for your own household's care, to invite only people you actually trust with that record, and not to probe, overload or attempt to break the service or other families' isolation.

Inside a family, an owner sets roles, visibility and access windows. Anything you write in the family chat, and any Vault item whose audience you set to the family, is visible to every active member of your family, the caregivers you invited included. Choose the audience before you write, not after.

Other Vault items have the audience you choose for each item. Private items are not visible to the rest of the family, including other owners. Your export includes only records you are authorized to access.

Education, not medical care.

LEELALU provides education and everyday support. Lu is an AI companion, not a person or a clinician. It can make mistakes and is not a substitute for professional care. Do not use Lu to diagnose a condition, choose a medicine or dose, or decide that a symptom can wait. For questions about your health or your child's health, talk to a clinician.

In an emergency.

If something is urgent, do not type it into an app. In the United States call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. For a poisoning, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself or your baby, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, any hour.

LEELALU checks every message against a reviewed emergency corpus and shows you a card with real phone numbers when it matches, both on your device and on our server. It is a safety net and not a monitoring service. It can miss things, it cannot call anybody for you, and it is not watching when the app is closed. Your judgment and a real clinician come first, always.

Acceptable use.

• Do not use LEELALU to make medical decisions in place of a clinician.
• Do not write anything into the family record about a person who has not agreed to be in it.
• Do not try to reach another family's data, probe the service, scrape it, or reverse engineer it.
• Do not try to make Lu act outside its boundaries, and do not present its words as medical advice to anybody else.
• Do not upload anything illegal, and do not upload photographs of other people's children without their parents' agreement.
• Do not resell, share or automate access to your account.

We may suspend an account that attacks the service, endangers another family, or breaks this list, and we will say why. If we ever have to close your account, you keep your right to export first.

Leaving with your data.

You can export your family's record from inside the app at any time. You can delete your own record from inside the app, with a grace period of 14 days in which one tap takes it back; deleting the whole family freezes it at once and erases it after a 30 day window that exists so everybody can take a copy first. Nothing is silently erased for any other reason, and nothing is ever held hostage.

It is a beta, and it behaves like one.

The app is early. Features appear, change and occasionally go away; something may break; a notification may not arrive. We will not knowingly lose your record, and export exists precisely so you are never depending on us for the only copy. The service is provided as it is, without warranties, and we do not promise it will be available at any particular moment.

To the extent the law allows, Leelalu, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us, which today is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Paid membership, later.

At public launch: LEELALU Family at $12.99 per month or $99.99 per year, and LEELALU Family Plus at $17.99 per month or $139.99 per year for a larger household or more than one child. Both start with 7 days free. When those 7 days end, we charge you for the next period at the price of the plan you picked, and we keep charging it until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the 7 days are up and you pay nothing at all. You cancel in your Apple subscription settings, not by asking us. One household subscription covers the whole family, and inviting your partner or a caregiver never costs extra.

None of this can be bought today. Before anything can be purchased, we will publish the final terms here and tell the waitlist first.

The LEELALU name, the character Lu, and the artwork on this site belong to Leelalu, Inc. Please do not reuse them commercially without asking. For press, write to hello@leelalu.com.

What we may change.

We may change the product, these terms and our prices. When a change to these terms matters, this page carries a new date and we tell invited families before it takes effect. A change that affects what we do with your data is a change to the privacy policy, and that one comes with a fresh consent rather than a quiet edit. If you do not agree with a change, exporting and deleting is always available.

The legal bits.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. If part of this document is unenforceable, the rest still stands. This is the whole agreement between us about the site and the beta.
